Stretch Out Your Hand

"Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of the Great Lion." (Acts 4:30 NLT)

There is power in your hands. This is a promise from above. When you stretch out your hands and ask for something, healing, increase, restoration, peace, the Creator promises he will do it for you. Our Creator says that when you ask anything in the name of The Great Lion it will be done. That is an awesome thing. I have the power to heal all of creation who are physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually sick.  The Great Lion gave this to me as an extension of himself. Wow.

I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to solve problems in my own strength. Then I start to worry and forget to be patient. One of the keys to waiting is to fill yourself up with the power of the Holy Spirit. How do you do that? You remind the Great Spirit of what he said with His promises for you. You speak them out all day long, you are thinking about them. Not in an obsessive sort of way, but in a relaxed confidence.  When I am in a slow season of business or Murphy decides to move in for a little while, I have to tell myself,"This is ok, it is not a problem, it is an opportunity for you to use the Great Spirit's power. The Great Lion is praying on your behalf, he is watching over you." 

That is when I stretch out my hand and pray over the situation. Sometimes the deliverance comes the way I prayed and sometimes it comes in the form of a divine connection or an impression. The key is, I have to remember I have healing power coming out of my hands to heal any situation. I can create miracles signs and wonders. I have the power of the Emperor beyond the Sea living inside of me. The Provider. Many different cultures have different names for him. The Jewish people call him Jehovah Jireh, the Anishinaabe call him Giche Manitou and Father, our Islam brothers call him Allah, and our LDS brothers call him Father. He is that and he wants you to stretch out your hand, especially during those slow seasons. Those slow seasons, those hard seasons, those uncomfortable times, that is when He wants to demonstrate His power through you.  Now, I intend to be a doer of the his promise and I hope you will too and stretch out your hand.

Prayer for Today

 Father, Creator, and Great Spirit, Thank you for the opportunity to be able to stretch out my hand to use the power you gave me. It is a great responsibility. Thank you for trusting me, teaching me, and waiting on me. Thank you for the chance to be the miracle this day. By the name of the Great Lion, Let this prayer be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house?
