ASK “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7, NIV) A lot of times, it’s easy to think that we’re not supposed to ask for too much, but the Scripture encourages us to go to God with all of our needs. He tells us to ask, and He longs to give you the desires of your heart. He Delights in Your Prosperity In the same way that a parent loves to see their child doing well and excelling, God wants you to do well and excel in every area. He takes pleasure in prospering you. He doesn’t want you to just barely have enough to meet your own needs. God wants you to be so blessed that when other people get around you, it overflows onto them. He wants you to be so blessed in your finances that you can pay your own bills, accomplish your own dreams and also be a blessing to other people. The key is that you have to make room for it in your thinking. You have to expect that He wants to bless you. Take a step of faith today by thanking Him for His abundance in every area of your life. Declare that because you follow His ways, His blessings are going to chase you down! Don’t just settle for a “good enough” mentality, develop an overflow mentality because God delights in the prosperity of His people!
