Be the Miracle

. So tired of continuing to watch good families being torn apart by addiction. It's every walk of life, every religion, every church and every socioeconomic background. People that love God, go to church and pray are not immune to addiction. People can say that it is a choice, and there is some truth to that, by its not that easy. Its extremely complex. (Though some can use it as an excuse to use) Until we get our head out of the sand and realize that it is a disease, we will continue to see lives and families destoyed. We are good at shaming addicts, but all that does is send them further into addiction because of the desire to escape the guilt and condemnation. As hard as it is to do, we need to tell someone that we love them and believe in them. Love conquers all and it's God's kindness that leads us to repentance. (Jason Lara, 2016)

The key is to keep your joy and realize that you had what you needed to solve the problem. Sometimes we need to remember the Great Spirit is more concerned with changing us than with the outcome of our goals. Yes, Great Spirit wants us to prosper and give us good things, but Great Spirit is more concerned with you having Great Spirit's qualities so you can develop the power to be the miracle.  When setbacks happen I find sometimes I get frustrated, but then after I take a deep breath, maybe in a day or two, I realize that it is just a setup.
