He Has Another Seed for You

“...For God has appointed another seed for me...” (Genesis 4:25, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria In Genesis, Eve went through a great disappointment. Her son Cain killed her son Able which was the first murder in the Bible. I’m sure Eve, like any mother, was devastated and heartbroken at the passing of her son. But I love what Eve said in Genesis 4:25, “God has appointed another seed for me.” In essence, she was saying, “I don’t understand it. It doesn’t make sense, but I trust God. This is not the end. He has appointed another seed.” Friend, when you go through things that you don’t understand, it is not the end. Nothing is lost in the kingdom. God is going to appoint another seed, and that seed represents the future. It indicates what is coming. If you will let go of what didn’t work out, let go of the hurts and pains, then for everything you’ve lost, God will appoint another seed. You’ll give birth to more in the future than you’ve lost in the past....

Set Your Mind

"  Now therefore thus says the Great Spirit: Consider your ways  and  set your mind on what has come to you." (Haggai 1:5 AMP) Often times in order for us to see a miracle happen we need to first be the change. There are two types of faith, one is called delivering faith and the other is called sustaining faith. The first type of faith is when Great Spirit instantly changes your situation, you are healed, you get a sudden break. Delivering faith is when you do not have to go through the trial. A greater faith is sustaining faith, a faith that though you may go through a fire, a tough time, Great Spirt will make you fireproof and allow you to use power you never thought you had.  One of the first things we need to do to see this come to pass is to consider our ways and then set our mind to achieve it. I like what Great Spirit told some men who had a vision to rebuild the temple in Israel along time ago. He told them to first consider their ways. In other word...

It's Your Time to Shine

"Too often, we complain, 'I don’t like this job. These people are so negative. Nobody has a good attitude.'Why do you think God put you there? That’s an opportunity for you to shine." (Joel Osteen, 2014) The Be the Miracle Movement. It is spontaneous. It does not just hit a particular group of people. It is moving through all of creation where the Holy Spirit needs to restore, revive, and make things new.I see it moving. There are places like Redding, California and Bethel Church that are seeing ordinary people use extraordinary power to heal, deliver, and bring a new presence to their city and culture.  There are people like Joel and Victoria Osteen and Rick Warren who do not take a salary, but teach people every day how to live on purpose. They send teams of people all over their cities and their world to do free neighborhood clean ups, trainings, and medical care. There is Pastor Tommy Barnett and his faithful Phoenix First Assembly which is labeled the Chur...

Tokens of Forgiveness

" Rejoice, O people of Jerusalem, rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rains he sends are tokens of forgiveness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as those of spring."  (Joel 2:23 TLB) Many people are waiting for their breakthrough, their turn around day, but one of the reasons they never see it is their thinking is limiting them. They are living in strongholds of self-defeat, self-hatred, and lack of vision of what the Creator can really do. One of the most powerful gifts given to us from the Great Spirit is the gift of forgiveness. When you forgive yourself for messing up your family, your finances, or making poor choices; you set your self up for Great Spirit to go to work.  When you let go of what is holding you back you are letting the Great Spirit bring rain. Rain is often a symbol of blessing. So when you forgive yourself, you can know every breakthrough you encounter, every time you receive double back for your trouble, you can know that thes...

You Have a Guide

"The  Great Spirit  will guide you continually,  giving you water when you are dry  and restoring your strength.  You will be like a well-watered garden,  like an ever-flowing spring." (Isaiah 58:11 NLT) We all go through dry seasons. Those tough times when everything seems to be going against us. We lose a job, the car breaks down, a family member deserts you. Maybe you just don't feel purpose where you are at right now. Even though it may seem dry, lonely, and lost you can know that the Great Lion is making a way where there is no way.  If you stay in faith, start speaking words of life over your situation you can know that Great Spirit will go to work. "Yeah, but I am so alone right now. Every door seems to be closing," you say. That may be true, but did you ever think that Great Spirit may be protecting you from something. Each day you declare new life over your situation it builds your hope that you know Great Spirit is guiding your way. ...

A Door of Hope

"I will return her vineyards to you and transform the Valley of Trouble into a door of Hope and Expectation." Hosea 2:15 (Aslan Version) We all have had times we have gone through a Valley of Trouble. A time when our health took a turn, you lost that job, or that person walked out on you. Sometimes our own thinking can keep us in the Valley of Trouble. What we need to realize is that Great Spirit does not want to keep us there. He has no intention for us to stay in a Valley of Trouble. One of the things He promises is that when we make a mess of life it can always be cleaned back up.  That is where he promises that rather than instantly deliver you, he will walk you through your Valley of Trouble to build your character, make you more like Aslan, and allow you to see that you have miracle power on the inside of you. You plus the Great Spirit is always a majority. When you expect things to change and they do you now have hope. When you have hope, your faith grows to th...

Can You Perceive It?

Image
“Behold, I am doing a new thing! ...Do you not perceive it and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”  Isaiah 43:19  (AMP) Today's Word from Lisa Comes God wants to do something new and supernatural in your life. Did you know He wants to do something supernatural in your finances? Can you perceive it? Are you making room for it in your mind, or have you already made up your mind not to expect anything new due to your present circumstances? God is interested in all your needs, desires, and even, your prosperity. In fact, Psalm 35:27 says that God delights in the prosperity of His people. Right now, we are in somewhat of a recession and economic slump, but because we belong to God, we have supernatural provision. God is never in a financial slump. Heaven is not in a recession. In fact, heaven is full of blessings waiting to be bestowed upon you. God said that He will make a way in your deser...

Use Your Strengths

"To achieve honesty within yourself. To recognize who and what you  are. Do this and you can be honest with all others"  (Anishinaabe Oral Tradition, another testament of the Great Lion) It is important that we be honest with our strengths. Too many people are always trying to fix their weaknesses. What happens then is you become tired and frustrated because you never are accomplishing anything. A better way to look at your life is to focus on what you do well. What are your strengths? The Great Spirit has given us an anointing and when we walk in that we will have an abundance of favor. When you are trying to be someone you are not, always working on your weaknesses, you will never achieve the favor you desire.  If you have character flaws, that is what the Great Lion is for. By focusing on your strengths, He will little by little change your character into His example. Do today I declare you are honest with your strengths and weaknesses. When you ...

For thus says the Lord,'Make this Valley full of Ditches'... For this valley shall be filled with water."(2kings3) Keep Digging Ditches by PRAYING! Keep Digging Ditches by BELIEVING God's promises! Keep Digging Ditches by boldly DECLARING what you're believing for! Keep Digging Ditches by WORSHIPPING! A great heavenly OUTPOURING of HEALING and HARVEST RAIN is coming to your life ! "Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old, behold I will do a NEW THING says the Lord. NOW it shall Spring Forth... RIVERS in the desert."(Isa. 43) You've never seen anything like what God's about to do in your life !! We had a years worth of rain fall in one day here. Your Hopes are Granted

"The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled;  the hopes of the godly will be granted."  (Proverbs 10:24 NLT) Fear can be a good thing and a bad thing. Fear can be your best friend if you allow it to keep you sharp. When fear takes over is when we allow those fears to dictate our decisions. There was a man who lived a long time ago name Job and he had a very hard time. One of the things he told his friends was, "That which I feared has come upon me."  It seems this man had a vision for fear, but that is not what we are supposed to have. We are supposed to have a vision of faith. I have heard it said that it takes the same amount of energy to have faith as it does to have fear and that fear is just faith moving in the opposite direction. That tells me I can change what I am thinking, I can start declaring promises that will feed my faith instead of thoughts that feed my fears.  Today's word says that the hopes of the godly are granted.  I know that is you...

Nothing Will Be Impossible

Image
“...now nothing will be restrained from them,  which they have imagined to do.”  (Genesis 11:6 KJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria In the Old Testament, the people were trying to build a tower to the heavens. The scripture says, “Nothing they imagined was impossible to them.” Their imagination was so powerful that God had to send confusion to keep them from accomplishing something for the wrong purpose. That same principle is true today. If we can get our imagination working for the right purpose, if we will let God paint a new picture on the canvas of our heart and see ourselves as He sees us — strong, healthy, victorious — then we can rise higher and accomplish everything He’s put in our heart. It may look impossible, but if you can imagine it, if you can see it through your eyes of faith, God is saying, “Nothing will be impossible to you.” That means you can overcome addictions by forming a new image on the inside. You can break generational curses by cre...

Dropped, But Not Forgotten

" Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child?  Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?  But even if that were possible,  I would not forget you!" (Isaiah 49:15) Sometimes in life well meaning people dropped us. They tried to help us, but now we are crippled, living in the slums, depressed, alone, forgotten. Here is the key, nothing goes unnoticed by the Great Spirit. You may have been dropped, but that bad break is not the end. If you stay in faith, there will be a turn around date. Great Spirit knows how to make things happen, He is about to whisper in someone's ear to be good to you. Justice is coming, restoration is coming, new beginnings are on the way.  Maybe you feel like you have had a bad break. It can be easy to sit there, but you need to get ready, you are about to be summoned by the Creator. He has a seat at the king's table for you. A seat of favor, a seat of promotion, a seat of wholeness, victory. Things may have pushed you down, bu...

You Are Like A Rose

"And so life is like a rose. The thorns are our life’s journey; without them we would lack the hard won teachings that we need to in order to grow. Life’s experiences make us who we are. And like the rose, we too decay and die many times in a life time only to come back to fruition again and again, after reflection, meditation, awareness, acceptance and surrender."  (Anishinaabe Oral Tradition,  Another testament of The Great Lion)

Giant Slayer

“A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.” (Proverbs 18:16, NASB) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When people hear the story of David and Goliath, sometimes they think, “That was all God.” And yes, in a sense, it was all God; but God didn’t sling the stone. David had a role to play, too. God gave David the skill that he had to develop in order to be prepared for that defining moment. Like David, God has put skills inside of you so that you can slay the giants in your life. You have the skills that can open new doors, skills that can lead to an abundant life, but the key is that the skills have to be developed. Every day that you spend growing, learning and improving, you’re getting prepared for that new level. Today, while you’re waiting for that new opportunity, start sharpening your skills. Study your boss. Study your manager. Learn that position. Be able to step into their shoes. When God sees that you are prepared, then He can ...

Hold Your Peace

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” (Exodus 14:14, AMP) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria One time in scripture when the Israelites were facing an impossible situation, God told them, “Hold your peace. Remain at rest, and I will fight your battles.” Notice there was a condition, something the Israelites had to do. They were told, “Hold your peace.” It’s the same for us today. A command like that indicates that something is trying to take your peace away: thoughts of worry, fear or anxiety. You might think, “What if it doesn’t happen? What am I going to do?” If you will just stay in peace, the Creator of the universe, the Most High God, will go to work on your behalf. Remember, nothing can stand against our God. He has all power. He stopped the sun for Joshua. He closed the mouths of hungry lions for Daniel. Whatever you face in life, God promises He will fight your battles. Trust Him, remain at rest and hold your ...

Water the Right Seeds

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” (Mark 4:8, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria When somebody calls you something, either good or bad, that seed is planted in the soil of your mind. However, you get to determine whether or not that seed takes root and grows. When you dwell on what was said, you are watering the seed. You’re giving it a right to become a reality. That’s why it’s so important to have a disciplined thought life. It’s great when people tell you, “You’re blessed. You’re talented. You’re going to do great things.” Water those seeds. Meditate on those thoughts throughout the day. That’s what you want to become a reality. Too often, we water the wrong seeds. We dwell on what the negative people say. The naysayers can’t make a seed take root in your life. All they can do is sow the seed. You have complete control over what seeds ar...

Full and Running Over

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." (Luke 6:28 NLT) Jesus talked about how when we give it will be given back to us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. What does that mean, pressed down? Think about this: Have you ever made chocolate chip cookies? The recipe calls for three-fourths of a cup of brown sugar. When you pour the brown sugar in the measuring cup, it’s so thick and dense, even when it hits the mark for three-fourths, you have to press it down. When you do you can put in about twice what it looked like themeasuring cup could hold. That’s what God is saying to us today. When you look full, you think you’re blessed, God says, “That’s fine but I’m an overflow God. I’m a more than enough God. I’m going to press it down and show you my favor in a new way.”...
