Some use it as a day to remember soldiers who fought in a war. But Memorial Day is more than that. It is a day to remember those who made a difference in your life. It is a day of gratitude . It is a day to remember those times you had with your grandparent, pets, or friends. It is a time to remember that special place in nature where you felt the most connected to the Creator. It is a time to be thankful for what your ancestors left you and their teachings they imparted to you. In the same way, Great Spirit has promised to remember you. He has promised to remember you and give you treasures in the darkness. He wants to remember you so that you will know everything came from Great Spirit. We all face enemies in this world. In most cases, the greatest enemy we will ever face is ourselves. Our negative thoughts will push us into making decisions that can give us a mess to clean up. Our own thoughts can determine how we respond to a situation or people. There are times when there are people who come against us, they will do anything to keep us down. There are other times where the enemy may not be us or another person. We are doing everything to our best, things are going great and a spiritual attack happens. You become what you think about, most of the time. If you think negative, self-defeating thoughts, you will move towards them. Those self-defeating thoughts can become strongholds in your life. They become barriers that keep us from going further up and further in. They can limit our potential. I am here to tell you today that you are free from any stronghold in your mind. When We Give Our Gift

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back."  Gi ving is so much more than we could ever think. Giving is what makes all of creation the closest to the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit is a giver. What do you think about when you think of giving a gift? Most people will think of giving money to a cause, volunteering their time, or giving someone a gift for friendship, a birthday, Christmas. The Great Lion said that when we give a gift, it will return to us in full, but more compact, to make room for more to come back to you. Again, most people here this and they think of the tithe in church. Your gift is not just the tangible, but it is the talent that you have been given. "The Great Lion said, ' Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.'" Sometimes when we get revelations from the Great Spirit, there are not words enough to describe how you are feeling. It just resonates so deeply within you, you know it i s the Great Spirit. When Aslan created Narnia and this world he gave us all the gift of connection. We also had the gift of speech and communication. When this world needed to be redeemed the Great Lion came to show us the good news of his kingdom. He did not just intend it for people, but for all of creation. He wanted all of creation to proclaim what he has taught them about the good news of Great Spirit's kingdom. Today I encourage you to let your pets, your garden, the birds, the mountains, the sky, the sun, the moon proclaim to you what they know about the good news of the Great Spirit.
