When We Give Our Gift

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." 



Giving is so much more than we could ever think. Giving is what makes all of creation the closest to the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit is a giver. What do you think about when you think of giving a gift? Most people will think of giving money to a cause, volunteering their time, or giving someone a gift for friendship, a birthday, Christmas. The Great Lion said that when we give a gift, it will return to us in full, but more compact, to make room for more to come back to you. Again, most people here this and they think of the tithe in church. Your gift is not just the tangible, but it is the talent that you have been given. There is an old saying that your gift will make room for you before kings and important people. Your gift or gifts are the special ability the Creator breathes his favor on. When he breathes his favor, you walk in an anointing of ease. It just flows, like a pro baseball player who can effortlessly throw a ball over 120 times per game at 96 miles per hour. What would take a lot of energy for the average person to do four or five times, they do effortlessly. The key than is to take pride in your gift. Like the beaver who gets creative to build houses and dams, he can make new wetland areas drawing other wildlife to the area. Like you, who when you give your gift by being your best each day at the office, at home, in school, or your business.  When you do this you will draw those important people and opportunities to you. In such a way you will have so many options you will be running over. My challenge to you today is how much of your gift are you truly giving? Are you getting to work on time, putting in the focused preparation, or are you complaining that you are never going to get to the next level? Remember, in the end it is not about you. It is about what you bring, what you give, and when you do that the Great Spirit's favor grows stronger on your life, allowing you to walk in an anointing of ease. So today, if you need more, instead of complaining, give of your gift as a teacher, parent, administrator, entrepreneur, or whatever assignment you are in. When you give of your gift, people will take notice and I believe and declare you will see the promises of Giche Manitou the Great Spirit come to pass in every area of your life.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
GREAT SPIRIT, WHOSE VOICE I HEAR IN THE WINDS, thank you for giving of yourself so that we can give. Thank you that your favor surrounds us like a shield and makes a way for us to prosper. We know that when we give of our gifts we are really giving back to you and you return to us more of who you are. By the Lion's mane, Let this be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house?
