Same Spirit, Same Power

Image
"And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you." (Romans 8:11, AMP) When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit makes His home inside of you. That’s God Himself, the same Spirit with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead! His resurrection power can bring back health, strength and life to your physical body. He can restore hope and breathe life into your dreams. In fact, He can resurrect any area that may seem dormant on the inside of you! The next time you feel overwhelmed by sickness, challenges or despair, remember, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you through Christ Jesus. You may have been burdened by an addiction, fear or worry, but there’s nothing that can stand against the power of God. Rise up and declare by faith, “He whom the...

Confidence to Receive

Image
"And we will receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey Him and do the things that please Him." Confidence to Receive When you pray, are you confident that you will receive what you’ve asked for? Many people today wonder if God hears their prayers. They aren’t certain if He will answer. But the scripture promises that when we obey God’s commands, when we live a life that is pleasing to Him, we can be sure that we will receive what we ask. Understand that God’s Word is His will. That’s why it’s so important to make His Word the number one priority in our lives. When you keep God’s promises in your heart and mind, it changes and shapes your character. It makes your thoughts and desires line up with God’s thoughts and desires. And when you are praying according to God’s will, you can have the confidence to receive what you’ve asked for. Make the commitment to obey the Word and do what pleases Him. As you do, you’ll see His hand of blessing in every area of your ...

Deeper Magic

“[The witch] would have known that when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor’s stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards.” There is a deep magic that governs all of our lives. There is a deeper magic still that determines all of our destinies. The deeper magic before the dawn of time is the love of the Great Spirit. The love of the Great Spirit is a longing for connections. The Great Spirit connects everything. He sent his son, the Great Lion, to be a mediator to the Great Spirit and bring us into connection with the Deeper Magic before the Dawn of Time. This Deeper Magic is more powerful than anything. This deeper magic can heal broken hearts, can heal sicknesses, can heal relationships, end wars and make even enemies be best of friends,  bring abundant fruit in your life, and give you a confident peace that no one could ever explain. It is the unconditional love of the Great Spirit. No matter how you know the ...

You Say, Great Spirit Does

"This I declare about the  Lord :  He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;  he is my God, and I trust him.  For he will rescue you from every trap  and protect you from deadly disease.  He will cover you with his feathers.  He will shelter you with his wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection." There is an old story about a young man who was a king in the middle eastern countries.  He was very close to the Great Spirit. He was so close to the Great Spirit that he was called, "a being after the Great Spirit's own heart."  This young man was not perfect though. He faced his share of problems, some of them he brought on himself.  One thing he did do was always come back to the Creator when he messed up. In one of his stories he was going through a very tough time. During this tough time he didn't sit back and say,"Too bad for me. Look at all these problems, I will never get out of this. This is the end of m...

Don't Be Just "Good Enough"

Image
"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."  (Philippians 3:14, NIV) God has planted His seed of hope, power and victory inside of you! All you have to do is allow God to bring the best out of your life and decide you won't settle for "good enough." It may not always be easy to do this, but it's very possible! Perhaps you have made a hurtful mistake in your past, and that is still haunting you. If you let the enemy tell you that you're not good enough for God's forgiveness, then you're settling for less than God's victory. Setbacks are part of life, but Jesus said He came to give you an abundant life! If you decide to strive for excellence, there is no limit to what the Lord can do through you and with you. A Prayer for Today "God, I know that You have given me forgiveness, and You desire that I live in victory. I choose to live in Your victory today and not settle fo...
