The Power of I AM

Image
Great Spirit replied, "I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people: I AM has sent me to you."   Exodus 3:14 The words we say about ourselves will dictate who you become. The most powerful words are I AM. These two words are powerful because they announce who you are. What follows your I AM is what matters. How many times have we said I AM lazy, I AM old, I AM sick, I AM no good. You are defining yourself.  There is a story about how the Great Spirit came to a man who he wanted to use to free some people who were in slavery .This man said, "I AM not a good speaker."  The Great Spirit replied,"Don't worry, just tell them I AM sent you. I AM your peace, I AM your courage, I AM your strength. I AM whatever you need me to be."   Isn't it interesting the Creator said his name was I AM? The Creator of the Universes defines himself as I AM. How much more should we not define ourselves in the same way. If the Great Spirit can take a person who can't ...

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

ASK “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7, NIV) A lot of times, it’s easy to think that we’re not supposed to ask for too much, but the Scripture encourages us to go to God with all of our needs. He tells us to ask, and He longs to give you the desires of your heart. In fact, Jesus said, “You have not because you ask not.” When you step out and ask, it pleases Him and shows that your faith and trust are in Him.  Remember, when you pray, make sure there isn’t anything in your heart that would block your faith. Begin your prayers by surrendering every thought and attitude to the Lord. Ask Him to purify your motives and show you if there is any unforgiveness in your life. When you release those things to the Lord, it opens the door for Him to move mightily on your behalf! ...

The "Be the Miracle" Movement: Your Second Chance : “Again and again he rescued them.” (Psalm 10:43 NLT) One thing that is certain in this life is that we will make choices that can set us...

Today's Word From Joel and Victoria Osteen

He Delights in Your Prosperity In the same way that a parent loves to see their child doing well and excelling, God wants you to do well and excel in every area. He takes pleasure in prospering you. He doesn’t want you to just barely have enough to meet your own needs. God wants you to be so blessed that when other people get around you, it overflows onto them. He wants you to be so blessed in your finances that you can pay your own bills, accomplish your own dreams and also be a blessing to other people. The key is that you have to make room for it in your thinking. You have to expect that He wants to bless you. Take a step of faith today by thanking Him for His abundance in every area of your life. Declare that because you follow His ways, His blessings are going to chase you down! Don’t just settle for a “good enough” mentality, develop an overflow mentality because God delights in the prosperity of His people!

Know Who You Are

The Great Lion answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'? (John 10:34) Have you ever struggled with your identity? When you go to work or out for a social event, just look around and see how many others are struggling also. Most of the time we buy clothes or items we can't afford with money we don't have to impress people we don't like. Why do you think this is? Could it be we do not know who we really are? Aslan gives an answer to who all of Creation is. Aslan, The Great Lion says,"You are gods, children of the Great Spirit, the Emperor Beyond the Sea."  When you think of this identity, it makes you realize the real power you have to be the miracle.  It changes your thinking and more important, it should change the way you act. If you are a god, you should be a servant, full of love and stewardship to take care of what you have been given and what is placed before you. So your challenge today is to c...

Love the Job You’re In

“Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (Colossians 3:23, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Some people think that loving their work means they won’t have to work hard, or that they won’t have frustrations. No, those things are all a part of life. But ultimately, God can help you enjoy what you’re doing. Just Around the Bend

“I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” (Psalm 16:7–8, NLT) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria At one point or another, your life will change. You will turn corners and come upon new blessings and challenges in your lifetime. This can be a positive experience, because it means that God is ready to change you and bring you into a new season of blessing. God never made you with the intention of staying the same. Instead, He made you so that you would change and grow and move forward. God is not in the business of becoming stagnant and never changing. God has promised you that He will never leave you or be too far away. Even though you may turn a corner without knowing what is on the other side, God knows. He will not allow you to trip or stumble when you’re following Him completely. So go ahead and turn those corners in confidence with God at your side! ...

Keep Looking Ahead!

“Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.” (Proverbs 4:25, NIV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria In order to fulfill your divine destiny, you have to know your purpose. You need a plan and then you must work within that plan. You should wake up each day knowing where you’re going, which direction you will take to get there and what you want to accomplish. Once you find your purpose, stick with it! Don’t allow the distractions of life to get you off course. Ask yourself, “Is what I’m doing moving me toward my God-given destiny? Am I staying focused? Is this my purpose or am I just wasting my time being busy?” Don’t be distracted and spend your time and energy on things that may be interesting, but are not helping you fulfill your destiny. Remember, God’s plans are blessed and as you walk in His plan for your life, you will experience His abundant blessing on everything you set your hand to! A PRAYER FOR TODAY God, Your Word promises that You ...
