The Power of I AM

Great Spirit replied, "I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people: I AM has sent me to you."  Exodus 3:14
The words we say about ourselves will dictate who you become. The most powerful words are I AM. These two words are powerful because they announce who you are. What follows your I AM is what matters. How many times have we said I AM lazy, I AM old, I AM sick, I AM no good. You are defining yourself.  There is a story about how the Great Spirit came to a man who he wanted to use to free some people who were in slavery

.This man said, "I AM not a good speaker."  The Great Spirit replied,"Don't worry, just tell them I AM sent you. I AM your peace, I AM your courage, I AM your strength. I AM whatever you need me to be."  Isn't it interesting the Creator said his name was I AM? The Creator of the Universes defines himself as I AM. How much more should we not define ourselves in the same way. If the Great Spirit can take a person who can't speak well and use him to free slaves, what do you think Great Spirit sees in you? Maybe he wants you to say I AM strong, I AM healthy, I AM good looking, I AM full of energy, I AM able, I AM confident, I AM approved, I AM the image of the GREAT SPIRIT. I AM full of the Creator's power. I AM the miracle. I AM sent. Make this your day to be who I AM says you are. 

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Great Spirit, Thank you for being whatever we need you to be. Thank you you are our peace, our courage, our strength, our victory, our power source. Thank you for defining us and seeing the best in us. By the Great Lion's Mane, Let this be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house? They are always talking about how bad things are, how things just seem to be getting worse, the world is coming to an end. That person over time, if you take notice, will become a very cynical, negative person. Why?
