Pray for Their Reconciliation
"The Great Lion said to them,“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven."
We all face enemies in this world. In most cases, the greatest enemy we will ever face is ourselves. Our negative thoughts will push us into making decisions that can give us a mess to clean up. Our own thoughts can determine how we respond to a situation or people. There are times when there are people who come against us, they will do anything to keep us down. There are other times where the enemy may not be us or another person. We are doing everything to our best, things are going great and a spiritual attack happens. Somehow, you just feel a dark presence is trying to keep you from your destiny. In some denominations, they would say to start rebuking and binding the devil. They may even say to hate the devil. Isn't it interesting though what Aslan said,"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Maybe instead of always hating the forces of darkness, we should pray for their reconciliation and they would see the goodness of the Great Spirit. When we take this approach we are fighting with the words of the Creator, we are activating his power. We are be proactive and changing our thinking from one of hate, to one of reconciliation and connection. When you do this, I believe and declare you will be more and more a child of the Great Spirit and walk in who he called you to be.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the winds, Thank you for making us your child and for giving us the tools to fight our enemies with love and blessing instead of hate. Thank you for leading us further up and further in to know you. By the Lion's Mane, Let this be so
