Just Remember

"I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am Great Spirit, the Creator all things, and the one who calls you by name." -Is. 45:3

Memorial Day is day of remembrance. Some use it as a day to remember soldiers who fought in a war. But Memorial Day is more than that. It is a day to remember those who made a difference in your life. It is a day of gratitude . It is a day to remember those times you had with your grandparent, pets, or friends. It is a time to remember that special place in nature where you felt the most connected to the Creator. It is a time to be thankful for what your ancestors left you and their teachings they imparted to you. In the same way, Great Spirit has promised to remember you. He has promised to remember you and give you treasures in the darkness. He wants to remember you so that you will know everything came from Great Spirit. Here is the key, not only does Great Spirit remember you, Great Spirit called you by name!

Remember comes from two parts, the prefix "re-" and the root word "member."  The prefix "re-" comes from the Latin language. When you use "re-" it means to indicate repetition or "again and again." It also means "back" or "backward" indicating a withdrawal or backward motion, to regenerate, retrace, or revert.The root word member means belonging to a particular group or a part of complex structure. So when you remember something you are going back to something you belong to again and again.

The key is to remember the good the positive memories and replace the negative memories. What are we doing? We are setting up memorials in our mind. We should always be remembering, going back again and again to the groups and structures the Great Spirit has placed in our life. The good thing Great Spirit has done for you. To remember the miracles. When you do that, I believe and declare you will see your world shift and the treasures in the darkness released. You will know that if the Great Spirit did it for you once, Great Spirit can do it again and again. Great Spirit remembers you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
GREAT SPIRIT WHOSE VOICE I HEAR IN THE WINDS, thank you for the power to remember our special moments that help us grow to be more like you. Thank you for remembering me, even when I don't deserve it. Thank you for your grace each day. I choose to remember the good things about who you are and what you have done in my life. By the Lion's Mane, Let this be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house?
