Seek Favor

"Another message came to them from the Creator.....to seek the Great Spirit's favor." (Zechariah 7:1 and 2)

  Did you know that you are supposed to seek favor from the Creator of the Universe? That's right. We are supposed to seek him first. We are supposed to knock and keep knocking. When we seek we will find. When we honor the Great Spirit, he will always honor us. Favor. This is one of my favorite things to listen to and learn about. Nothing fills me up with more energy and excitement than favor. And why not? You are seeking the preferential treatment of the I AM.

 Favor means  (a kind or helpful act that you do for someone, approval, support, or popularity, preference for one person, group, etc., over another). By the power of the Great Lion we have favor from the Great Spirit, the Creator of the Universe, the Emperor over the sea. We have his favor. That means we have his kind or helpful acts. We have his approval. We have his support. We have his popularity. We have preference over other people or groups because we honor him. Now this does not mean that Great Spirit hates other groups or people. It does mean that when you are walking in your anointing, He will cause you to standout. It is said that your gift will make room for you. That is what his favor does, it makes room for you. His favor will allow your gifts to be a greater blessing to all of creation. Remember, the Great Lion said you would do greater things than he has done. 

I also like how another definition defines favor: friendly regard shown toward another especially by a superior, approving consideration or attention. When you walk in your anointing, your gifts, being your best each day, being the miracle you are honoring the Creator. He is the superior who than shows you a friendly regard, approving consideration, and attention. When you honor him that gets his attention and he will make you stand out. He will use you to make dry places fruitful.  

People often ask how they can see the favor of the Creator. It is very simple, speak it out, declare it, act like you have it, and start each day thanking the Creator for his favor. He also says to judge fairly, show mercy and kindness to one another. Take care of the lease of these: do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. Do not scheme against others. Rather be like the Great Lion and heal the sick, raise the dead, and bring his presence to your world. Then I believe and declare you will bloom where you are planted, you will see the unending matchless favor of the Great Spirit. You will become all he intended you to be and you will have all he intended for you to have and to give.

Prayer for Today
Creator, thank you for your favor today. Thank you for the opportunity to honor you. I choose to seek your favor today and each day for the rest of my life. Thank you for your approving consideration over my life. I praise you today. By the name of the Great Lion, Let this prayer be so.

You Get What You Think

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house?
