Redeeming the Time

"I will cause the sun's shadow to move ten steps backward on the sundial of Ahaz!'" So the shadow on the sundial moved backward ten steps." (Isaiah 38:8) NLT
We all have made mistakes. Some of us have times in our life we would soon forget. Others of us started on the right track and lost who we were, became arrogant and tried to make things happen on our own power and not using the power of the Spirit.Things have not turned out like we expected and we go through a desert period.  I am here to tell you, if you are tired of not living up to your potential there is hope. People often say you can't go back again, but I have great news!  You can! The Great Spirit has the power to redeem the time! The time that you missed with your kids because you were working so much. The time that you spent in mourning, the time you spent in a difficult place. It can all be redeemed.  

It is described in a story of King Ahaz who wanted to see proof that his miracle would come to pass. He asked that timed would move backward. Noticed, he asked. That is a key. If you are in a tough spot right now going through a depression, busy period, or feeling you missed your best days ask Great Spirit,"Turn back the clock, let me go back to when I was happiest and begin again."

Like Zerubbabel who rebuilt the temple, the Creator will say, "Begin again." You will be given permission to begin again. You can start over in  old neighborhoods, get a better place to live, go back to that job you lost or loved, restore relationships, and make all things new. Like Job, He gives everything back in a double portion. It happens faster than you could have ever imagined. But it will not happen if you focus on yourself.  I believe the time is redeemed because our focus is on being the miracle. Being the miracle for your greatest desires and those in your world.

If you are in this place, ask the Great Spirit, by the power of the Great Lion, to help you turn back the clock and begin again. The Creator is the "Giver of the Second Chance" and you can have it. It won't be easy, but it will be worth it. Change your thinking, think like the Creator. Think humility, think gratitude, and believe in his miracle working power. Be your best each day. Look for opportunities to be the miracle. Believe the Creator is shifting things in your favor. When this happens, I believe and declare your light will break forth like the dawn, you will begin to see things shift, and you will be the miracle and bring the Kingdom of the Great Lion to earth.


Prayer for Today
Great Spirit, Thank you for turning back the clock. Thank you that even though I have made mistakes and live with regret, you have the power to redeem the time and make things better. In the name of the Great Lion, Let this be so.
