All It Takes Is One
"And leaping forth he stood and [b]began to walk, and he went into the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking about and praising God." (Acts 3:8-9 AMP)
There was a story that happened a long time ago about a man who was crippled. This man had been sitting at the gate to the city for many years, begging to survive. Then one day two men came and they asked him what he wanted. The man wanted money to eat. The two men looked at him and said,"Money I do not have. But by the name of The Great Lion, rise up and walk."
Instantly, this man was healed. He was able to get up and walk and now he could go and make a life instead of asking for life. The miracle that happened is not the most important part of the story though. Up until this time many people did not think much of Aslan and his followers. They needed something to prove that Aslan can make their world better. That Aslan has a greater plan for you.
All it took was one miracle and it later says that 5,000 people believed and received the power of The Great Spirit. You see, too often people think they need to change someone's belief system to get them to follow Aslan. Not true. What will change hearts is miracles, signs, and wonders. It is like this missionary friend I know. For years she spent time serving in Africa. After she left Africa she did a research paper on her experience. She discovered that the people did not come to Aslan, The Great Lion because they were shared a tract or invited to church. What did it for them was one miracle. Often times it was women who were barren and received healing from the missionaries to have a child.
All it takes is one miracle and you can influence thousands. One random act of kindness could be the miracle that shifts time and space. That is why today I believe and declare you are a miracle worker. Whatever your hands do they will prosper. You are full of wisdom, discernment, and boldness. You have the fullness of the power of the Great Spirit and all of the gifts he gives. Continue to speak with him and call forth those miracles that will change your world.
Prayer for Today
Great Spirit, Thank you for the gift of Aslan. Thank you that he has shown us how to bring healing to a lost world. Thank you that I am one of your children. In the name of the Great Lion, Let this be so.
