The Power of Song

"The lion was pacing to and fro about that empty land and singing his new song. It was softer and more lilting than the song by which he had called up the stars and the sun; a gentle rippling music. And as he walked and sang the valley grew green with grass. It spread out from the Lion like a pool. It ran up the sides of the little hills like a wave…"

When Great Spirit created the world, he didn't just speak his creation. Great Spirit sang his creation into existence.  There is a vibration and energy that comes from the power of song that releases creativity. We see this when the Great Lion created Narnia. He had a rhythm for what he was doing. The words and sounds that came out of his mouth were the manifestation of his vision. That rhythm, that song, is what holds everything together. The Great Lion knew something about the power of our words and he knew that when put into a vibration pattern they would be even stronger. They would carry the Great Spirit's power. No matter what you are going through, good times or challenges, remember the power of song. Our native ancestors believed in the rhythm of the drum and had special songs they sing for certain prayers or ceremonies. These songs have the vibration of the Creator. They would help them connect in a greater way and see things come to pass. In the same way with you, when you are going through a depression, start singing, sing a prophetic song, let those words bring power through the Creators vibrations. When you are getting ready for that big job interview, start singing. When you want to start that business, sing it into existence. Find a song or let one create that has the vibrations of how you feel. When we sing, we are praising the Creator. Praise always precedes the victory. When we sing and are full of praise we are being like the One who made all things and that is pretty special. Today I believe and declare that when you start singing, the dreams and visions that you have will not only come to pass but Great Spirit will exceed your wildest expectations.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

GREAT SPIRIT, WHOSE VOICE I HEAR IN THE WINDS, thank you for the gift of song. Thank you for putting your rhythms and vibrations of You into us so we may bring more of You to this world. We praise you today and thank you that you are singing with us as we be the miracle. By the Lion's Mane, Let this be so.
