What Do You Hear?
“Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of the roar of an abundance of rain.”
There are seasons in our lives when we are dry- business is slow, your energy is low, your job seems tedious. It seems that dream is taking longer, you have been single so long. When these dry seasons come from pursuing a goal, it is easy to want to give up, get lazy, get complacent. It is so easy to want to think, this is the way it is, maybe I am supposed to give up. I believe in seasons, and I believe the Creator opens and closes doors, but I also believe that when you are in a dry season that is an opportunity for an abundance of rain. This is an opportunity for the Great Spirit to exceed our expectations and do something above and beyond what we could ever imagine. I believe that everything starts in our thinking. One of the ways to change your thinking is to change what you are listening to. Instead of listening to those voices that say,"This is it. I knew you would fail. This is how it happened last time, so this must be how this season will end" start listening to the roar of the abundance of rain. Listen to the roar, Aslan's roar. Aslan is on the move, making a way where there is no way. Change what you are listening to from lack to the promise that Aslan is on the throne, he is making a way where there is no way. Aslan is fighting your battles, lining the right people up. All he needs is you to hear the sound. When you hear the sound, by faith, you will rise up, new vision will come, strength will arise within you and you will see the Great Spirit exceed your expectations.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY
GREAT SPIRIT, WHOSE VOICE I HEAR IN THE WINDS, thank you for your goodness. Thank you for allowing us the dry seasons to hear your voice and to hear the ROAR of the abundance of rain. Thank you that it is on the way, that you are exceeding our expectations, not because we deserve it, but because you are so good and we can bring your kingdom to this world. By the Lion's Mane, Let this be so.
