A Quiet Confidence

"Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence will be your strength."

Many times in today's culture we feel that we must be aggressive and loud in order to be heard or seen as important. We see it in protests and in our government.  We see it in the way people try to get a head in business. That is contrary to the ways of the Great Spirit. The Great Spirit does not speak to us in a loud voice, he is not brash, no the Great Spirit comes to us in a whisper. The Great Spirit comes to us like a cool breeze, that feeling of peace that we just want to stay in forever. That is how we are supposed to be. How many times have we let our emotions get the best of us?
The Great Spirit wants us to find our rest in Him. He wants us to have a quiet confidence that we know he knows the end from the beginning. He wants us to have a quiet confidence in our abilities, not going around bragging about it, but being an example instead. Aslan has that look of quiet confidence.  You just know that you know he is in control, he is at peace. Why? Aslan has given control to the Great Spirit because he has experienced the Great Spirit's power. Today seek to find that quiet confidence.  At the office when you are excited about something, try not to talk too much. Let other's speak, be passive and listen, but carry yourself with the assurance Great Spirit has the best for you. Know that Aslan is with you and awakening that quiet confidence on the inside of you. People will be able to see that. When people see you have a peace about you, that will be more willing to follow your vision.  Today, stay quietly focused on the task at hand and watch what the Great Spirit will do.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
GREAT SPIRIT WHOSE VOICE I HEAR IN THE WINDS, Thank you for this day, the sun, the flowers, the birds, and our health. Thank you for the quietness in our soul and our mouth that we can hear others and You. Thank you for always being our teacher, our protector, our vindicator, and our Good Good Father. By the Lion's Mane, Let this be so
