You are Crossing Over

“As evening came, The Great Lion said to his followers, ‘Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” (Mark 4:35 NLT)
In today’s story from the Great Lion, he was taking his followers across a lake, but at the same time there was a terrible storm. While the Great Lion was sleeping in the boat his followers got scared. They had never seen a storm like this before. Then he woke up and spoke to the storm, “Be still.”  Often times on the way to your goals you will face trials. In your marriage you may hit a rough patch. You may get a negative report from the doctor. “This is so unfair. How can this happen to me now?” That is merely a storm, but you have to remember the big picture. You are crossing over to a new level of your destiny.
Your trials are not going unnoticed. Rather, you are seeing an opportunity to use the power to calm the storm. Speak to your trial by saying, “I will overcome this by the sacrifice of the Great Lion and the power of my testimony.” No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Even better yet, tell that tough time to be still. When you do that you are coming from a place of peace. When you can stand still in the midst of a storm you have control. Remember the Great Lion is going with you, breathing on you, making sure that you will come through without harm. I think the best way to remember it is, “Storm, you won’t defeat me. I’m crossing over to a new level of my destiny. It may take some time, but I am full of peace. I have favor. I have the Great Lion fighting my battles for me.”
You are entering into one of the greatest seasons of your life. That small beginning that seemed as if it would take forever to get going, somehow accelerated.  That relationship issue with a family member suddenly goes from sour to sweet. What happened? You crossed over. The storm became calm, peace became the norm.  Some of you will cross over immediately while others of you are in the crossing over at a sustaining pace. I believe and declare that what you have believed for in faith is promoting you to a new level of your destiny. You will be the miracle to the oppressed, the hurting, the lost, the hopeless, and the abandoned.
PRAYER FOR TODAY                           

GREAT SPIRIT, Thank you for the Great Lion’s peace in our storms. Thank you for the power to be the miracle. Thank you this day we are crossing over into a new level of our destiny. In the Name of the Great Lion, Let this be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house?
