Turn it Around

“Leave your simple ways behind and begin to live…” (Proverbs 9:6
NLT)                                                 
So often we get stuck in a rut, always thinking, “When are things going to change? Why can’t I ever get ahead?”  The Creator refers to this kind of thinking as “simple ways.” Simple ways are thoughts and behaviors that we have that are opposite of  the resurrection power inside of us. We all still have simple thinking that holds us back. To leave your simple ways behind does not always mean to stop behaving in an immature fashion. It really means to get a bigger vision for your situation, turn it around, and think differently. Rather than always thinking and speaking how bad something is, start talking about what you want to happen. Speak about your situation as if it is already changed. I like what one of my mentors told me, “Call the things that are not as if they already are.”
I know that many people reading this today are having some real challenges in their health, finances, and families that are causing a lot of stress. Maybe you just can’t seem to get on the same page with your spouse; it has been such a long time since you actually enjoyed being together. Perhaps you are always beating yourself up with negative words about your job, your car, your lot in life.  Yet the fact you are reading this means you believe you have hope to turn things around.
 The first thing you need to do is do exactly what today’s declaration tells us to do, leave your simple ways behind. If you are struggling in your business, you need to start declaring, “Whatever I put my hands to will prosper.” If you are having issues with your spouse, start declaring, “Thank you for the wife or husband of my youth. They are honored at the city gates. As for me and my house, we serve the Great Lion. When you do that you will have a new perspective. You will feel better about your life. You will enjoy your job more. You will relax. You will have more peace. In essence, you will be able to really live your life. 
When you leave the simple thoughts behind, and get a vision of hope you will be encouraged and you will be able to see your situation not as a problem that is happening to you, but an assignment to bring a miracle. No matter what you are facing, you must leave the simple ways of negative thinking behind in order to see miracles come to pass. When you do that I believe and declare you will see the Great Lion begin to move like you have never seen before. I believe and declare you will see the goodness of the Creator and live the abundant life you were intended to live.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

GREAT SPIRIT, Thank you for this day. Thank you for preparing a table of abundance for us to come to. Thank you for giving us words of faith and hope to change our situation that we might live according to what you have intended. In the name of the Great Lion, Let this be so.

You Get What You Think

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house? They are always talking about how bad things are, how things just seem to be getting worse, the world is coming to an end.
