Divine Appointment becomes a Destiny Moment
Tonight was a moment of divine appointments. While on the way back to the church from a hospice visit with a family, Matt Brodt called. He had found and had a family with a dog in crisis. While difficult to place a family in a emergency shelter it is near impossible to place one with an animal. The one location has a long waiting list. We learned the family was able to work but needed to be stabilized. Further contact with Cheryl Wade King at Helping Hands offered a potential solution. Thanks Matt and Cheryl for your work in our community. Keep this family especially a little 9 yr girl with a puppy who has lost everything else in your thoughts and prayers.Well...the driver backed out at the last minute so the Reverend and Mrs Cleo Lewis are personally transporting the family to Vegas - thank you both and safe travels! I made sure the pup had everything she needed and was pleasantly surprised to learn this pet's owners have provided the necessary vaccinations, and on schedule even! Shout out to all who contributed (or are contributing) to getting FOUR living beings off the street. Employment has even been secured for them. Happy me
