Treat Your Neighbors Well

"Suppose a white man should come to me and say, Joseph, I like your horses. I want to buy them. I say to him, No, my horses suit me; I will not sell them. Then he goes to my neighbor and says, Pay me money, and I will sell you Joseph's horses. The white man returns to me and says, Joseph, I have bought your horses and you must let me have them. If we sold our lands to the government, this is the way they bought them."   (Chief Joseph, an Apostle of The Great Lion)

The way you treat your neighbor will determine the kind of reputation you will have. The Great Lion always said to treat your neighbor as you would want them to treat you. So often we see in this culture people cheating others to get ahead. They might lie to them about a business deal and then take more than agreed upon. Chief Joseph, was one of the great apostles of the Great Lion. He had a hard time dealing with some new people that came to visit the land he was living in. They were very dishonest and moved the ancient boundary markers that were set up by previous generations. When these people did this, it made Chief Joseph see these people differently.
A king from Israel a long time ago once said the same thing, "Do not move the ancient boundaries set by your ancestors." Now I know many of you today might be thinking, "I didn't move any boundaries, I did not hurt anyone from along time ago." That is true, but the principle here is greater than just moving land markers. It is a principle of honor and integrity. The Great Spirit loves to honor people who walk with integrity, in other words they are doing what they say they will do. They are honoring the Great Spirit and the Great Lion by living according to his words of life. 
When you are good to your neighbors it means you value your reputation or how they see you. I believe and declare that you will then have favor with those you live closest to. You will have favor with people and live a life a of integrity and honor that will propel you and future generations light years ahead. You are being the miracle by representing the Great Lion in this world. 

PRAYER FOR TODAY
GREAT SPIRIT, Thank you for the opportunity to have a reputation of being good to my neighbors and all of creation. Thank you for forgiving me of any wrongs I have done to my neighbors in the past. Thank you for blessing my future generations as miracle workers in your name. In the name of the Great Lion, Let this be so.

“The fears ….. will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.” (Proverbs 10:14 NLT) Our life will always move to what we think about most, which is why it is so important to guard your mind. If you are not careful you can think about only negative things and you become a negative person. Have you ever been around that person who only has the news channel on in their house? They are always talking about how bad things are, how things just seem to be getting worse, the world is coming to an end.
